April is Oral Health Month
Oral Health Month is celebrated in Canada every April by those involved in the dental community. It was put in place to recognize the importance of the mouth and to education the public on the importance of their teeth and oral tissues.
Please celebrate with us the advances we have made in dentistry and dental hygiene over the years. The conversation has been broadened and there is a greater recognition of the fact that the mouth is a gateway to the rest of body. Research around the world is looking at connections between problems in the mouth and other health effects such as heart disease, cancers and diabetes. With a move towards individuals valuing overall health the mouth should be included in this.
We work for the public and our goal is help improve or maintain your oral health in order to keep your overall health.
