Three Things You Can Do
Brush at least twice a day with fluoridated toothpaste. Toothpastes with fluoride are effective for helping to prevent tooth decay and decrease sensitivity around exposed root surfaces.
Have your kids drink regular water from the tap, yes from the tap. Our tap water is fluoridated and helps prevent tooth decay.
Use a recognized fluoridated mouthwash or fluoride rinse. Either can add to the cavity prevention program.
Years ago we discovered that tooth decay has a secret enemy in our water supply. Research revealed that people born and raised in areas where a certain amount of fluoride was naturally present in the water supply had far fewer cavities.
