DR. YVONNE SURYA D.D.S.

Dr. Yvonne Surya is a busy mom to three boys. When she is not at the office, she enjoys travelling with her family or cheering on her boys at their many sporting events. Her middle son, Mark is attending Queen's University and plays varsity football. Her youngest son, Andrew is finishing up his last year of High school and enjoys playing hockey, football and rugby. The Surya's recently added a daughter-in-law to their family, when Yvonne and Kris's eldest son, Steven was married in May, 2008. At home and at the office, Dr. Surya has a way of making everyone feel welcome and part of her family.

DR. ANNE CHOW D.D.S.

Dr. Chow brings to our practice many years of experience as a family dentist in both Hamilton and Smithville. Her clinical experience and kind demeanour are a wonderful asset for all of us. Dr. Chow works Tuesdays, alternating Thursdays and Fridays, and some Saturdays.

DR. MARY ANNE NEW D.D.S.

Dr. New recieved her dental degree at the Univerity of Toronto and subsequently completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Alberta. She is certified in the use of I.V. and oral sedation for adult patients. Dr. New brings not only her knowledge and clinical skills but also her genuine caring attitude in her treatment of all her patients.

EVA - OFFICE MANAGER

Graduated dental assistant 1988. Eva been with us since 1993. She's the one to talk to regarding financial arrangements and insurance issues. Energetic mother of Abbie, Josie and Savanha. When she is not busy driving to gymnastics or dance, she enjoys gardening and reading.

VLASTA - HYGIENE COORDINATOR

Vlasta has been with us since 1997. She will be the one reminding you when it's time for your next appointment. Vlasta enjoys travelling, spending time with her family, especially her new grand-daughter Kira, skiing and photography.

MINDY - REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST

Graduated University of Michigan 1975. Mindy has been with us since 1996. Mindy is basking in that "empty nest" situation. With Adam her mining engineer son living in Australia, and Justin beginning his career as a chemical engineer, leaves her time to indulge in cooking, wine and travel. Mindy is the creator of some of our wonderful quilt art. (Our own Martha Stewart).

TINA - REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST

Graduated Dental Hygiene program at Fanshaw College in 1987. Tina has been with us since 1988. She is part of our hygiene team that specializes in the Periodontal Laser Therapy. Busy mother of Jessica and Sarah, spending a lot of time at the Hockey rink and Soccer Field. Enjoys spending time with family and skiing and has taken up hockey herself.

MONIKA - REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST

Monika is a graduate of Canadian Institute of Dental Hygiene. She has been with us since 2003. Monika is a member of our Periodontal Laser Therapy team. She is settling in to life as a devoted mother of Kaitlyn. Enjoys spending time with family and friends.

KRISTEN - CERTIFIED DENTAL ASSISTANT

Graduated 1992. Kristen has been with us since 1994. She is part of our Orthodontic team. She is our "go to girl", handles all of our ordering. Busy mom of Stewart. Enjoys going to the family cottage, boating and skiing, and travelling.

KERRY - CERTIFIED DENTAL ASSISTANT - LEVEL II

Kerry has been with us since 1997, a graduate of George Brown College. She takes care of the whitening , sports guard clinics and our "Calling all 3 year Olds" program. Kerry is also involved with our Orthodontic program.

OLIVERA - CERTIFIED DENTAL ASSISTANT - LEVEL II

Graduated Career Canada College in 2000. Olivera has been with us since then. She works with the associates and specialist and is very dedicated to her work. Busy mother of Dalibor and Matea. Enjoys decorating, travelling and spending time with her family.

BEV - ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Bev has been with us since 1999. As our Greeter, she informs the Doctor or Hygienist of patient arrivals. Additional responsibilities include, confirming appointments, handling charts and patient correspondence. Enjoys all family activities with hubby, Marvin, sons Rob and Mark, his wife Tracy and 3 delightful grandchildren.

EWA - ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Ewa has been with us since 2007. She works with Dr. New assisting and doing children's recare appointments. Ewa always has a smile on her face, and will always be there to help out when it's needed. We are proud to say she just recently became a Canadian Citizen. Congratulations!

LORI - REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST

Lori graduated CIDH in 2006. She has been with us since then. Busy mother of Katie, Jeff and Bobby. Enjoys time with family and friends.

LISE - ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Lise graduated from the University of Waterloo in 2007 with a Legal Studies Major and Psychology minor. She has worked the front desk every summer since 2005 and is now entering her second year at Detroit Mercy Law School. Recently, she joined the Surya family, Marrying Dr. Yvonne Surya's eldest son, Steven in May 2008. They just bought their first home and are excited to start their busy life together.

PAULA - ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Paula looks after Dr. New, and our lumineers program. She has been with us since 1983. Her Children are grown and off to college now. Paula enjoys being at the cottage, reading and spending time with friends and family.

SUE - ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Graduated Career Canada College in 1988. Sue has been with us since February 2003. Looks after Dr. Chow and the administration of our orthodontic program. Enjoys walks with her dog and trips up north to the cottage.
